Gobal Week of 24-7 Prayer

6 - 13 September 2026

We would like to share information about an upco­ming ecumenical initiative that will take place in Latvia for the first time. From 6 to 13 September 2026, the worldwide 24-7 Prayer move­ment is invi­ting Christians across the globe to join a week of continuous prayer under the theme “In the Name of Jesus” (Philippians 2:9-11).

This is not an event organised by us. It is an indepen­dent, inter­na­tio­nal and ecumenical initiative of the 24-7 Prayer network (origina­ting from Holy Trinity Brompton in the UK). More than 950 prayer locations in 140 countries are already participa­ting.

In Riga, a special prayer room will be open 24 hours a day throughout the week at:

• Pestīšanas Templis (The Salvation Army)
  Lāčplēša iela 117, Riga

Everyone is welcome to come and pray — alone or together with others — for our neighbourhoods, churches, cities, our country, and for people to encounter Jesus in a living and personal way.
